We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialty Secretary to join our Surgical & Critical Care Secretarial Team at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the Pain & Anaesthetic Service team, ensuring efficient and effective communication with patients, medical and nursing staff, and other stakeholders.
- Utilize advanced typing skills and medical terminology knowledge to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
- Contribute to the achievement of performance targets, efficiencies, and excellent administrative services within the specialty.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, medical staff, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Proven experience in administrative or secretarial roles, with a strong background in medical terminology and typing.
- Excellent communication and customer care skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in the English Language and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality administrative services.
