Job Title: Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at The Hillingdon Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality ultrasound services to patients and trainees.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Scan patients and produce independent reports of these scans in line with departmental guidelines.
  • Take an active role in teaching and practical training of student Sonographers, specialist registrars, and others in training.
  • Participate in the management of the ultrasound department and in the audit and clinical governance programs.
  • Communicate with patients, their relatives, and others about the purpose of the examinations and the scan results in line with departmental guidelines.

Requirements:

  • HCPC/SVT/RCM registration
  • BSc in radiography/Midwifery
  • Experience scanning Abdominal, gynaecology, Obstetrics, Small parts, DVT, Carotid and vascular scans on both inpatient and outpatients
  • Participation in clinical audit
