About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and empathetic individual to join our team as a volunteer companion. In this role, you will be paired with a person living with dementia and accompany them to their favourite activities or events.

As a volunteer companion, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life by providing emotional support and companionship. You will need to commit to an average of two hours of time per week, which can be flexible to suit your schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accompany a person living with dementia to their favourite activities or events
  • Provide emotional support and companionship
  • Help the person living with dementia to maintain their independence and engage in activities they enjoy

What You'll Need:

  • Good communication skills
