We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team at Future Engineering in Essex and Kent.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate cost estimates, working with project managers and suppliers, and preparing tender submissions. Key skills include estimating software proficiency, strong Excel skills, and a good understanding of M&E systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Producing Accurate Cost Estimates

The ideal candidate will have experience in reviewing and interpreting drawings, specifications, and project documents to produce accurate estimates. This will involve preparing detailed cost breakdowns for mechanical and/or electrical services, including labour, materials, and equipment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Intermediate Level: 2+ years' experience in estimating, background in M&E installations, proficient in estimating software, strong Excel skills, and a clean driver's license.

A competitive salary of £53,000 - £60,500 per annum, plus benefits, including a car, fuel card, performance bonus, progression opportunities, 28 days holiday, birthday off, pension scheme, and quick start.

This position requires the ability to work effectively in a team environment, assess project risks, and propose cost-saving solutions.
