Mathematics Instructor

About the Role

Wayman Education is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maths Teacher to join their team at an Outstanding rated OFSTED school. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching KS3 and KS4 maths and be able to work collaboratively with both experienced teachers and ECTs.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach maths to students at KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons that cater to different learning styles.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective maths curriculum, ensuring students meet or exceed targets.
• Support the development of maths departments, contributing to whole-school initiatives and projects.

Requirements

• Formal teaching qualification with QTS (e.g. PGCE) and a strong track record of success in teaching maths at KS3 and KS4.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff and students.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £35,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
