About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join our team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. As an Occupational Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality clinical services to our employees, promoting their health and well-being, and ensuring their fitness to work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive occupational health services, including health assessments, vaccinations, and health promotion activities.
  • Work closely with employees, managers, and other stakeholders to identify and manage health risks, and develop strategies to prevent work-related illnesses and injuries.
  • Conduct health surveillance and monitoring programs to ensure the health and safety of employees.
  • Develop and implement health education programs to promote healthy behaviors and lifestyles among employees.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to employees.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of employee health information.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of occupational health services.
Requirements
  • Registered General Nurse with current NMC registration.
  • Relevant post-registration experience in a variety of primary and secondary care clinical settings.
  • Experience of health promotion activities, health surveillance, and health education programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the needs of the service.
  • Good IT skills and ability to maintain accurate and confidential records.
