Investment Debt Pricing Analyst

The role of Investment Debt Pricing Analyst will focus on analysis and evaluation of portfolios from a wide range of clients including lenders, banks & retailers, assisting the business in acquiring debt portfolios and monitoring portfolio performance.

• Interrogating and preparing vendor data for pricing purposes.
• Assessing data profiling and quality, questioning where additional data may be needed.
• Liaising with the Acquisitions and Due Diligence teams to identify risks and opportunities.
• Analysing vendor data and understanding suitable benchmarking.
• Producing pricing proposals in the form of investment memos, reports, and summaries of analysis outcomes for presentation to stakeholders.
• Understanding the performance of purchased portfolios, including key drivers.
• Monitoring and interrogating the profiling and quality of pre-agreed contracts.
• Supporting and producing insight from Champion/Challenger analysis for collections strategies.
• Evaluating and tracking the performance of campaigns and projects.
• Maintaining and manipulating the data warehouse using SQL and Excel.

• A good understanding of Data Analysis.
• Knowledge of Excel and SQL.
• Experience using and writing queries in SQL.
• MS Office experience, including MS Teams.
• A knowledge of Python is desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality.
