This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining systems to ensure the stability and quality of our title. You will work closely with the development team to provide tools and information to ensure the game remains of the highest quality. You will champion testing and quality assurance, promoting higher standards throughout the studio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with all disciplines to provide tools and processes for monitoring quality and build health
  • Own the planning and delivery of test frameworks and tooling
  • Champion automated testing and promote a quality-at-source approach
  • Share data gathered by automated processes to drive development decisions
  • Identify and mitigate project risks
  • Participate in the collaborative team spirit and mentor other engineers
Requirements
  • Experience working on testing tools/frameworks on previous titles, from production to release
  • Passion for automated testing and drive to champion a test-first approach
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong C++ knowledge
  • Ability to plan and meet scheduled goals
  • Passion for gaming and game development
Desirable
  • Previous experience as a Test Engineer or SDET on a AAA title
  • Experience using Unreal 4 or 5
  • Knowledge of CI software, such as TeamCity or Jenkins
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
