About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join our dedicated team at Horizon Care and Education. As a pivotal member of our academic community, you will play an essential role in delivering an inclusive and supportive curriculum that caters to the individual needs of all students, particularly those with Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND).

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Primary curriculum to secondary aged students in an SEN/SEMH environment
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the needs of students with complex needs
  • Work collaboratively with the therapeutic team to provide a holistic approach to student support
  • Contribute to the development of a nurturing environment that supports pupils with a range of Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
Requirements
  • QTS or QTLS Qualifications
  • Proven teaching and learning experience
  • Up-to-date safeguarding and child protection qualifications/knowledge and experience
