Network Manager Role

A leading organisation based in London is seeking a Network Manager to provide hands-on leadership to a specialist network infrastructure team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the performance and technical network challenges of the technology, as well as day-to-day technical network operations and changes.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead a team of network engineers in managing network infrastructure and ensuring high availability.
  2. Develop and implement network strategies to support business growth and improve network performance.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network services.
  4. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and improvement.
  5. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  1. Demonstrable experience working in a senior or lead position in a network infrastructure team.
  2. Good understanding of network and security infrastructures and how they support services through to the application stacks.
  3. Strong technical background of network, firewall, and associated technologies.
  4. Solid knowledge of networking, network flows, and network access controls.
  5. Experience with Cisco routers, switches, and associated technologies.
  6. IP routing technologies for Campus and Data Centre.
  7. Overlay & VPN Technologies.
  8. Cisco SD-WAN.
  9. Network Access Control systems and 802.1x.
  10. Cisco Wireless.
  11. F5 BIG-IP Application Delivery Control & BIG-IQ.
  12. Cisco Firepower and Cisco ASAv.
  13. Cisco AnyConnect suite.
  14. Checkpoint firewalls and associated technologies.
  15. Palo Alto Networks firewalls.
  16. Quality of Service.
  17. Solarwinds Orion NPM, APM, Netflow & NCM.
  18. Microsoft Azure IaaS experience required.
  19. Cisco CCNP or CCIE in routing and switching, or security is highly beneficial, or equivalent experience.
