Job Title: Commercial Litigation Solicitor - Procurement Disputes

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Remote (with occasional travel to client sites)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join our team as a Procurement Dispute Solicitor. As a key member of our commercial disputes team, you will be responsible for advising clients on public procurement dispute matters, providing expert guidance on public procurement law, and working closely with clients to resolve disputes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on public procurement dispute matters, including contract disputes, bid protests, and claims for damages
  • Provide expert guidance on public procurement law, including the EU Public Procurement Directive and the UK's Public Contracts Regulations
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop effective strategies to resolve disputes
  • Represent clients in court and at arbitration hearings, as needed
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in public procurement law and regulations, and advise clients on the implications for their businesses

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in commercial litigation, with a focus on public procurement disputes
  • Strong technical expertise in public procurement law, including the EU Public Procurement Directive and the UK's Public Contracts Regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop effective solutions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results
