Job Title: Clinical Nurse Specialist

Join our team at Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust as a Clinical Nurse Specialist, providing high-quality care and support to young people with complex mental health needs.

About the Role:
  • Provide clinical advice and support to the Intensive Residential Outreach Care team, ensuring the highest standards of person-centred care and professionalism.
  • Work closely with social care managers to review and monitor the demand and capacity of the service, promoting a recovery model of care and encouraging colleagues to maintain the highest standards of care.
  • Act as a systems coach within networks, providing alternative advice to traditional medical and psychiatric interventions to stabilize risk symptoms.
  • Contribute to the development of pathways to reduce the risk of placement breakdown and improve knowledge and understanding within the social care and CAMHS networks.
  • Provide leadership and clinical expertise to the team, enabling them to deliver a comprehensive mental health service and improve outcomes for young people.
