Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial Lawyer to join our client's prestigious Legal team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a dynamic and fast-paced business environment, where you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice on commercial matters.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in commercial law, with experience in negotiating deals, drafting contracts, and advising on business-critical matters. You will work closely with the Head of Legal and other stakeholders to provide strategic legal advice and support the business in achieving its goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Negotiating and drafting commercial contracts, including software licences, digital and IT agreements, marketing agency and sponsorship contracts, procurement, and NDAs.
  • Providing expert legal advice on commercial matters, including IP, branding, social media, and advertising.
  • Handling corporate and intra-group matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and partnerships.
  • Working closely with the business to identify and mitigate risks, and to develop and implement effective legal strategies.

Requirements

  • Strong background in commercial law, with experience in negotiating deals, drafting contracts, and advising on business-critical matters.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
