About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our Malt Distilling Technical Team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with operational sites throughout Scotland to provide technical insights and drive continuous improvement in energy, carbon, and water efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Benchmarking and identifying new technical insights to unlock performance and drive breakthroughs.
  • Building and sustaining working collaborations with functional partners to deliver comprehensive solutions to challenges.
  • Supporting continuous improvement and problem-solving activities through technical knowledge and data analysis.
  • Being a role model and champion for data-driven decision-making and systemic root cause problem-solving.
  • Identifying the need for multi-disciplinary problem-solving teams to address systemic problems.
  • Providing technical support for process safety and promoting a strong safety culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience in providing technical insights to support project delivery.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Experience with statistical analysis tools and Microsoft Packages.
  • Technical experience in an FMCG or distilling environment, preferably in a fast-paced operations-facing role.
  • Written and verbal technical communication and presentation skills.
  • Full Clean driving license due to travel requirements.
