Job Description

We are seeking an Efficacy Specialist to join our Chemical Regulation and Food Safety Practice in the UK or Switzerland. This role involves working with clients to prepare regulatory dossiers for plant protection products, focusing on efficacy data requirements. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing strategic guidance on EU and national efficacy data requirements
  • Liaising with EU regulatory authorities
  • Writing Biological Assessment Dossiers and concise evaluation documents
  • Developing efficacy sections for new active substance dossiers and emergency authorisation submissions

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements, experience in preparing Biological Assessment Dossiers, and a background in agronomy or a related field. Line management or team management experience is also beneficial.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of a B.Sc. degree in biological sciences or an agriculture-related subject
  • Strong regulatory knowledge, particularly in efficacy data requirements
  • Agronomic experience, preferably in conducting efficacy field trials or managing other agronomic testing
  • Experience in preparing Biological Assessment Dossiers
