Mechatronics Development Expert

ARM's Auto team is working with a leading OEM automotive client to recruit a Seat Functions Engineer for a contract role based in Cheshire. As part of this role, you will have technical responsibility for Vehicle Function processes within seating and will define seating functions from a first logical customer basis.
Your Background:
To succeed in this role, you will need to have significant experience working in an engineering position, with knowledge of system development and software-based logic. A degree in electronics, software, or mechatronics is also required, as well as knowledge of vehicle communication networks. Experience with ISO 26262 and functional safety standards is highly desirable.
Contract Information:
This contract is based in Cheshire, commutable from Nantwich, Crewe, Stoke-on-Trent, and Sandbach. The contract is hybrid, with 2 days onsite and 3 days from home, working 35 hours per week. The contract is expected to run until at least August 2025, paying £34.85 per hour.
