The Role

We are seeking experienced Bat Earned Recognition (BER) Registered Consultants and Class 2 Bat Licensed Ecologists to strengthen our existing BER expertise in the team. As a multidisciplinary consultancy, we work closely with colleagues from other teams including Planning, Placemaking, Engineering, Transportation and Asset Management. Our BER Registered Consultants are proactive in developing relationships with colleagues from across the business, liaising with the wider ecology team and other technical teams, and supporting them through all stages of a project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct bat surveys and assessments to identify the presence of bat species
  • Develop and implement mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of development on bat populations
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver project plans and reports
  • Provide expert advice to clients on bat conservation and management
