We are seeking a motivated Ecologist to contribute to a variety of exciting projects across different sectors. Based in the East Midlands, this role offers flexibility, professional development, and the chance to work with a dynamic and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct ecological surveys, habitat assessments, and protected species work.
- Prepare ecological reports, including Preliminary Ecological Appraisals (PEA) and Biodiversity Net Gain assessments.
- Assist senior team members with project planning and delivery.
- Collaborate with clients, providing ecological advice throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work closely with the ecology team to ensure the successful completion of projects.
- 2-4 years of experience in ecology or a related field.
- Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a similar discipline.
- Familiarity with EIAs, UKHab surveys, and protected species work is a plus.
- Professional membership with a recognised body (e.g., CIEEM) or willingness to join.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
