Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Transport Team Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Transport Admin Office in Hatfield. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing administrative processes, driver schedules, and vehicle management to ensure compliance with driving regulations and timely trailer delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage administrative support, including tracking driver hours and absence, and ensuring cover is in place.
  • Ensure compliance with our scheduling system and communicate effectively with drivers to ensure they have the necessary information for timely departures.
  • Deliver operational and customer service key performance indicators through continuous improvement and monitoring.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will have experience in a similar transport sector position, ideally in a fast-paced office environment. You will be highly organized, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage your workload and multitask. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential, as you will work closely with drivers and managers alike.
