We're recruiting skilled professionals to join our client's team on Western Approach site, where they're shaping the Future of Flight. As a Skilled Fitter, you'll be part of an ongoing contract with a leading aircraft and aero-engine manufacturer. This is an exciting opportunity to work on Western Approach site.
About Our Client
Our client serves top-tier aircraft and aero-engine manufacturers across three business lines:
- Civil air
- Air transport
- Air transport services
They are known for their innovative approach to Flying Forward. We need experienced individuals who can contribute to this mission.
Compensation Package
The estimated salary range for this position is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location considerations.
Job Description
This role involves working as a Skilled Fitter, ensuring that all aspects of aircraft and aero-engine manufacturing meet the highest quality standards. Key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting routine maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborating with teams to meet production targets and deadlines
- Maintaining a safe and organized workspace
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Prior experience in aircraft or aero-engine manufacturing
- Relevant trade certifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
