Corporate Lawyer

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Counsel with 2-4 years of post-qualification experience as a Solicitor in private practice. In this role, you will provide comprehensive legal support to the Head of Legal and collaborate across the business on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters.

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in advising on and managing high-value insurance transactions, drafting complex legal documentation, and supporting the Head of Legal in managing contracts with key suppliers and third parties.

• Provide legal counsel to all areas of the business, particularly Bulk Purchase Annuities.
• Support the future strategic development of various insurance lines, including assistance with the development of bulk purchase annuities/pensions de-risking business.
• Interpret and present legal considerations and material.
• Draft, negotiate, review, and summarise complex legal documentation.
• Support the Head of Legal in advising on and managing high-value insurance transactions, with and without support from external legal counsel.
• Support the Head of Legal in managing contracts with key suppliers and third parties involved in the provision of services across the business.
• Work closely with the Head of Legal and Company Secretary to provide support on day-to-day company legal matters.

• Minimum two to four years' post-qualification experience as a Solicitor in private practice.
• Good commercial, transactional, and/or advisory experience gained from working with corporate clients.
