Job Description: Head of Portfolio Management and Analytics

Estimated Salary: £90,000 - £140,000 per annum.

We are seeking an experienced Head of Portfolio Management and Analytics to join our team at the ENGIE Group. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will play a crucial role in driving our energy transition efforts and helping us leverage our diversified portfolio.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and a deep understanding of commodity market fundamentals, particularly in power markets. They will be able to demonstrate a digital mindset, with experience in agile ways of working and a strong ability to engage clients and colleagues alike.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for providing decarbonisation, optimisation, and risk management services to internal and external clients in the UK. Your key responsibilities will include setting the team's strategy and direction, supporting delivery and personal growth, and collaborating with stakeholders across the business.

The EM UK team is based in our London office, close to Liverpool Street. We offer hybrid and flexible working arrangements to all team members and encourage regular on-site attendance to foster and maintain professional connections.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about the energy transition, has excellent written and spoken English, and can convey complex topics to a non-technical audience. If you are a collaborative and analytical problem solver with a strong understanding of data science methodologies and modern coding languages, we would love to hear from you.

Main Activities:
  • Asset Representation using GEMS ETRM system, OT, to enable the Asset Owner to understand forecast expected revenues and running regimes.
  • Provide analysis and guidance to Asset Owner on appropriate Risk Management strategies, executing agreed hedges.
  • Minimise impact of planned outages through engagement and collaboration with Asset Operations teams.
