We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Years Foundation Stage Teacher to join our team at Protocol National Limited. As an EYFS Teacher, you will play a crucial role in nurturing and supporting the development of young children aged 0 to 5 years, fostering their holistic growth and ensuring a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons and activities that align with the EYFS framework, promoting the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of young children.
  • Create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment, designing and setting up interactive learning centres to enhance child-led play and exploration.
  • Assess and monitor each child's progress, providing regular feedback to parents/guardians on their child's development and achievements.
  • Foster positive relationships with parents/guardians, involving them in their child's learning journey through effective communication and regular updates.
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies that encourage positive behaviour and promote a respectful and inclusive classroom community.
  • Collaborate with other EYFS teachers and school staff to plan and implement a comprehensive and cohesive curriculum.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
  • Proven experience as an EYFS/Nursery Teacher, preferably in a similar temporary capacity.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and its implementation.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with young children, parents/guardians, and colleagues.
  • Creativity and the ability to design and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons and activities.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a temporary assignment through a recruitment agency.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement in EYFS teaching practices.
  • Successful completion of background checks and any other necessary screening required by the recruitment agency and the school.
