Finance Business Partner (Part Qualified)

Description
Enva, a leading environmental and waste management company, is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our local finance team in Colwick. Reporting directly to the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role in driving financial performance, improving forecasts, and ensuring operational efficiency across our sites.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Partner with Managers: Collaborate with Profit Centre Managers to enhance financial performance through forecasting, KPIs, and financial reporting.
  2. Financial Forecasting: Compile and review weekly forecasts covering both revenue and costs, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals.
  3. Operational Finance: Work on operational activities to integrate financial perspectives into day-to-day operations.
  4. Month-End Support: Act as a local point of contact for the finance team, providing essential support during the month-end process, including reconciliation of data.
  5. Debt Management: Assist in managing slow and doubtful debts, liaising with teams to ensure progress on invoice and credit note queries.
  6. Continuous Improvement: Support the Senior Finance Business Partner in analysing financial trends, improving processes, and fostering commercial awareness across the business.
Requirements
  1. Part-Qualified Accountant (AAT or equivalent experience, QBE)
  2. Strong experience in month-end accounting and business analysis
  3. Proficiency in Excel (including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables)
  4. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with teams across the business
  5. Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is desirable but not essential
