We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Building Surveyor to join our Oxford-based team, where you will work alongside project managers and quantity surveyors on a diverse range of high-profile projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering a full suite of building surveying duties, including feasibility studies, specifications, and contract administration.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on multiple projects across various sectors, including retail, health, energy, and commercial property.
  • Undertake feasibility studies, produce specifications, and obtain estimates for refurbishment projects.
  • Apply standard forms of building contract, such as JCT and NEC.
  • Mentor and train junior building surveyors and provide supervisor support to APC programme participants.
  • Line manage junior building surveying staff and oversee regional schemes.
  • Develop new business opportunities, including bid preparation and submission.
  • Utilize technical surveying knowledge and significant building surveying experience to drive project success.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical surveying knowledge and significant building surveying experience.
  • Experience managing clients and understanding profitability, business development, and commercial awareness.
  • Experience mentoring, training, and coaching team members.
  • Strong IT skills, including Word, Excel, and AutoCAD.
  • Ability to travel as required.
