Data Operations Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Operations Engineer to work in our data engineering team, responsible for ensuring the reliability of data pipelines feeding our group data warehouse. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing data warehouse performance and making small changes as needed
  • Overseeing deployments and designing data pipeline performance reporting
  • Collaborating with the team to identify and troubleshoot issues
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Programming experience in Python and advanced SQL query writing, troubleshooting, and debugging
  • Experience working with relational cloud-based database technologies like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift
  • Understanding of cloud tools such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Experience working in an agile environment
