Job Overview

The MET Technician/Strip Fitter role is a key position within our Bodyshop team, focusing on the precise removal and refitting of vehicle parts to achieve high-quality body repairs.

This permanent role offers an attractive salary of up to £21 per hour, plus bonus incentives, along with comprehensive company benefits for growth and development opportunities.

We seek an experienced MET Technician/Strip Fitter to join our West Drayton-based Accident Repair Centre. This individual will be responsible for dismantling and rebuilding vehicles as instructed, identifying and reporting unseen damage, and maintaining efficiency and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Removing and refitting parts to ensure body repairs meet high standards
  2. Dismantle and rebuild vehicles according to instructions
  3. Report unseen damage not included in estimates
  4. Maintain a good level of efficiency and attention to detail
  5. Collaborate effectively in a team environment

Requirements:

  1. Hold time-served or qualified status through City & Guilds or NVQ programs
  2. Prior experience as an MET Technician is essential
  3. ATA certification is advantageous but not mandatory
