About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Environment Artist to join our team at Eleven Eleven. As a key member of our art department, you will be responsible for leading a small team of environment artists and ensuring that all art meets the highest standards of quality and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of environment artists and provide guidance and support to help them grow and develop in their roles.
  • Work closely with the art director and other team leads to ensure that all art is aligned with the company's artistic vision and goals.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the game's art style and ensure that all environment art is consistent with this style.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as design and programming, to ensure that all art is integrated seamlessly into the game.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies and make recommendations for how they can be applied to our game.

Requirements:

  • Over 10 years of experience in the video game industry, with a strong focus on environment art.
  • Proven track record of leading a team of artists and delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong understanding of art principles and the ability to apply them to create realistic and engaging environments.
  • Passion for the game industry and a desire to be part of a dynamic and creative team.
