At Home Instead, we are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Care Assistant in Cannock and Burntwood. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing companionship, home help, and personal care to older people within their homes.
Care Assistant Benefits:
- We offer excellent pay rates, ranging from £12.10 to £12.50 per hour, with double time bank holiday enhanced rates.
- Our Care Assistant roles offer flexible hours, from 16hrs to 35+ hours available, allowing you to balance your work and personal life.
- As a Care Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work in a minimum of 1 hour calls, ensuring you have the time needed to provide high-quality care to our clients.
- We cover a wide area, including Cannock, Burntwood, Rugeley, Heath Hayes, Norton Canes, Penkridge, Essington, and surrounding areas, reducing travel time for our care professionals.
- We have an employee referral bonus programme, offering a £150 bonus scheme when you refer a friend who completes their probation period.
- We also offer mileage reimbursement at 0.33p per mile after the first 10 miles.

Care Assistant Responsibilities:
As a Companion, you will be a highly rewarding career where no two days are the same. With minimum 1 hour care visits and client matching, you will have the time to provide high-quality, person-focused care.
- Companionship: ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit.
- Help with everyday tasks such as meal preparation and light housework.
- Accompanying clients to appointments or shopping.
- Personal care: supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing, and grooming to keep them healthy and independent.
Qualifications:
No qualifications are needed, and care experience is welcomed, but not essential.
