About the Role:
As a Commercial Specialist at Babcock International Group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our Submarine Dismantling Programme (SDP). You will be responsible for managing contracts, negotiating with customers and subcontractors, and ensuring that all claims for payment are made in line with contract conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure integrity, honesty, and transparency in all dealings with customers
- Manage contracts, including amendments and negotiations with customers and subcontractors
- Assist in the preparation of bids and tenders for potential subcontractors
- Liaise with Senior Buyer SDP to assist with Invitations to Tender for potential subcontractors
- Ensure that all claims for payment are made in line with contract conditions
Requirements:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Specialist who has a strong background in contract management, negotiation, and procurement. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
