Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at E3 Recruitment. As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our factories by performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and implementing process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out planned mechanical maintenance and repairs to keep factories in good working order
  2. Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
  3. Provide excellent communication skills to colleagues and production personnel to ensure effective collaboration and problem-solving
  4. Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance, Inspections, Service and Repairs on hydraulic machinery, bearings, shafts, conveyor-based systems, and other equipment
  5. Support process improvement initiatives throughout the factories
  6. Responsible for plant-wide proactive and reactive mechanical maintenance activities to ensure optimum performance of all factories
  7. Report to the Engineering Team Leader to ensure all maintenance tasks are undertaken and completed

Requirements:

  1. Hold a recognized Mechanical Engineering qualification such as an Advanced Apprenticeship & or; Level 3 NVQ with BTEC Level 3 or above, City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering/Craft studies
  2. Demonstrable knowledge and expertise in PPM and reactive maintenance on Industrial Plant & Equipment
  3. High degree of Health & Safety awareness
