Job Overview:

Redline Group is looking for an Optical Engineering Specialist to join their team in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical design expertise for opto-electronic product development, supporting manufacturing and new product introduction.

About the Position:

The main purpose of this role is to design and develop optical systems for aerospace and defence applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product development and support manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

This position requires a strong background in mechanical design engineering and modelling using 2D and 3D designs in Solidworks. A solid understanding of opto-electronic product development and harsh environments is essential.
