Special Education Support Assistant | Tower Hamlets, London

Ribbons & Reeves, London's leading Education Recruiters, are currently seeking a dedicated and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join their support team at a leading school in Tower Hamlets.
Job Summary:
- This is a full-time term time only SEN Teaching Assistant role, commencing in September and running until the end of the academic year.
- The ideal candidate will have a Psychology related degree from a top 20 UK university and previous experience working with children with SEND.
- As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside qualified SEND professionals, Specialist Teachers, and Educational Psychologists, learning firsthand and making a meaningful impact on children with Special Educational Needs.
- The role pays £480-£550 per week on a PAYE basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support small groups of students and work on a 1:1 basis with children who require additional support.
- Assist in managing classroom behaviour and supporting the students.
- Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all children.
