Job Title: Senior Software Developer

Salary: £65,000 - £75,000

We're looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our team, working on cross-functional teams to deliver solutions such as IMP Planner and Purchasing. As a collaborative developer, you'll take pride in the pragmatism of your solutions and the quality of your code.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Agile Software Development:
  • Design, develop, and test software solutions in our tech stack including ASP.Net, MVC, C#, SQL, Blazor.
  • Collaborate with a team of peers, applying agile practices such as pair programming and code reviews.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies such as planning and refinement.
  • Collaborate with product, development, and test specialists to model solutions for development.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of industry tools and standards, advising the team on their implementation.
Handling Data:
  • Champion efficient data access patterns, including Entity Framework, migrations, and blob storage.
  • Advocate for judicious use of Azure resources, including web apps, storage accounts, functions, etc.
Desirable Skills:
  • Familiarity with Telerik Kendo UI or Fluent 2.
  • SQL and Entity Framework.
  • Payroll or finance systems experience.
  • Microsoft Azure.
