Deputy Head of Operations

We are seeking an exceptional Deputy Head of Operations to join our team at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. As a senior leader, you will play a critical role in promoting the vision and values of our organization, ensuring the delivery of outstanding patient care, and driving operational excellence across our services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide operational and strategic leadership to a significant collection of services, including maternity, neonatal, and gynaecology services.
- Deputise for the Head of Operations in the full range of duties, with fully delegated decision-making responsibilities.
- Develop and implement programs of change to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to drive strategic planning and service development.
- Lead by example, promoting a culture of compassion, inclusivity, and teamwork.

Requirements- Master's degree or equivalent experience.
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
- Extensive knowledge of the NHS in the acute sector.
- Able to participate in an on-call rota.
- Experience within the healthcare sector at senior manager level.
- Proven track record of achieving challenging healthcare targets.
- Experience of delivering programs of change within a healthcare setting.
- IT skills to manage and report on complex performance management information.
