HGV Class 1 Driver Job Description

Ignition Careers is currently recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to work from Willenhall for our client, a leading parcel distribution company. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for driving a fully branded Class 1 vehicle, trunking or collections, and maintaining your Driver hours in accordance with Working Time Regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a fully branded Class 1 vehicle
  • Trunking or collections with little to no manual handling required
  • Keep up to date with the required pre & post-shift vehicle checks
  • Maintain your Driver hours in accordance with Working Time Regulations
Requirements:
  1. Class 1 Driving Licence
  2. At least 12 months experience driving a Class 1 vehicle
  3. Up-to-date Tacho Digi and DCPC Card

We will accept up to 6 points on your licence, but no DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a prestigious driver for our client, you will be responsible for delivering parcels and packages to customers across the UK. If you have the skills and experience required for this role, please apply today
