Job Description

Job Title: Timber Frame Estimator
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 DOE
Location: Bedfordshire
Sector: Timber Frame

We are seeking an experienced estimator with a background in timber frame or engineered timber projects to join our team at ARV Solutions. As an estimator, you will be responsible for producing detailed quotations from construction drawings, ensuring tenders are submitted on time to a high standard, and liaising with all other departments within the business. Your technical expertise in timber frame or timber engineering will be essential in providing advice to customers and suppliers.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Producing detailed quotations from construction drawings
  • Ensuring tenders are submitted on time to a high standard
  • Liaising with all other departments within the business
  • Attending pre-start meetings with architects and clients

We are looking for an estimator who:

  • Has a background estimating within timber frame or timber engineering
  • Can read from construction design drawings
  • Can communicate across all levels to ensure commercial targets are met
  • Possesses a strong understanding of different software packages, specifically MS Office
