Senior Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our Shore Technology team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will play a critical role in reducing risk in delivery and maximizing the return on investment for Carnival UK.
About the RoleThe Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that stakeholders have a shared understanding of the changes being delivered. This will involve building a shared understanding to a level of detail and completeness sufficient to form a sound basis for design, business impact, and test activities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Business Analysis activity within products and projects, ensuring that outcomes, scope, and requirements are captured, reviewed, and baselined for large, complex initiatives.
- Accountable for effectively challenging scope and complexity to increase benefits/delivery pace and decrease cost of delivery.
- Understand and effectively apply appropriate requirements definition and management methods, tools, and techniques based on the context of the work (i.e., agile or waterfall).
- Organize and prioritize requirements using techniques such as user stories, epics, business rules, requirement statements, and business processes.
- Play a role in setting standards that the team works to and coaching others. Where assigned to lead, define ways of working, organize, and coordinate this work.
We are looking for a highly experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in solution requirements and business change. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience performing Business Analysis activities within large, complex portfolios of delivery that include an IT component.
The successful candidate will be fully familiar with industry-standard Business Analysis techniques and their application. Experience working within an Agile environment is also essential. A demonstrable ability to influence senior stakeholders is required.
