Retrofit Site Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retrofit Site Manager to join our team at Cardo Group. As a Retrofit Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of Retrofit site works, ensuring that all works are completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Manage the delivery of Retrofit site works, overseeing the installation of Energy Efficiency Measures (EEMS's) by both direct delivery operatives and specialist subcontractors.
- Communication: Provide clear and concise communication on progress of works to Cardo Group management and clients, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and up-to-date.
- Health and Safety: Ensure the highest standards of health and safety are adhered to at all times, by all attendees of the site. As the Site Manager, you will have overall responsibility for ensuring health and safety policies and procedures are followed by all.
- Client Management: Act as the company's representative to clients and their residents, providing effective and efficient communication between the client, residents, and internal project teams.
- Team Management: Work closely with Cardo Group management, operatives, and supply chain subcontractors to ensure that the project programme is adhered to, identifying and managing any risks to programme, quality, or budget that may arise.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all works are installed to PAS2030/MCS requirements, and that the PAS2035 process is followed.
- Documentation: Update systems to ensure that all documents relating to your role are saved and ready for auditing in strict accordance with Cardo procedures and PAS2030 requirements.
- Regulatory Compliance: Work with Building Control regulations and requirements, as well as all other statutory and mandatory regulations/legislation and requirements.
- Teamwork: Develop effective working relationships with residents, direct labour operatives, sub-contractors, clients, building control, and the local fire authority.
- Leadership: Act as the representative and be the face of Cardo Group, promoting and following good Project governance through the policies and procedures laid out by the Cardo Group.
- Qualifications: Membership of the CSCS scheme (preferable), 5-day SMSTS – CITB, 1st Aid at Work (3 day), and a minimum of 5 years' experience in a Construction Supervisory/Site Manager role.
- Experience: A solid understanding of construction methods and technology, a proven knowledge of the management of health, safety, and environment, and an awareness of the PAS2035/PAS2030 process and requirements.
- Skills: Be IT literate, have a proven track record of career progression through engineering, trade, or construction roles in the construction industry, and fully understand and lead customer management.
- Attributes: Understanding and achieving objectives, display leadership & team awareness, good communicator, commercially aware, customer focus, emphasis on effective planning and organisation, resource management, decision making, negotiation skills, and time management.
We offer a competitive salary of up to £45,000 per annum, a company pension, 31 days holidays including your birthday day off, company van, full uniform, and full PPE provided.
