We are a dynamic and ambitious company looking for a skilled Gas Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Risk assess working environments to ensure a safe working practice and undertake all work in accordance with Health & Safety and The Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations (GSIUR) 1998.
  • Carry out servicing and repairs to heating/plumbing systems and appliances, achieving a target of 90% first-time fix.
  • Attend all calls allocated to you inside target times, and report any delays to call handlers to inform the resident.
  • Identify materials and parts required to carry out repairs, and record accurate logs of work undertaken and materials used.
  • Manage and control allocated van stock, ensuring levels are kept as necessary.
  • Plan your own work and meet the targets set by the company and yourself.
  • Be prepared to work flexible hours, including outside normal working hours, depending on the needs of the business.
  • Be prepared to carry out some work duties on a nationwide basis, with uplifts and away bonus applicable.
  • Carry out daily tasks in a helpful and professional approach, prioritizing customer service.
  • Keep your allocated company vehicle clean and tidy at all times, wear the correct uniform, and dispose of any waste according to company/HSE regulations.

Requirements

  • Valid ACS / Gas Qualifications.
  • Level 2 or above in plumbing.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Heat pump and renewable energy systems experience would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience of managing small teams of engineers would be advantageous.
