We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Management Accountant to join our team, responsible for leading the delivery of accurate and timely financial information to support our hotel operations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working with accounting software such as Sage Intact or Opera PMS.

The estimated salary range for this position is £62,000 - £72,000 per annum, based on qualifications and experience.

Job Overview:

Accounting and Finance

The Senior Management Accountant will be responsible for producing accurate and timely management accounts, conducting variance analysis, and ensuring compliance with our group's accounting policies.

This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce management accounts for allocated companies.
  • Conduct detailed reviews of performance metrics.
  • Maintain up-to-date reconciliations.
  • Drive financial strategy and planning.
  • Compile annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Prepare cash forecasts and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Mentor and manage accounting assistants.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Brand experience with Marriott is preferred.
  • Part/Fully Qualified CIMA or ACCA.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience with accounting software.
  • Strong balance sheet knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and initiative.
  • Ability to work independently.
