We are a leading provider of educational services, dedicated to empowering students to reach their full potential. We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate individual to join our team as a School Support Worker at a secondary school in Macclesfield.

Salary: £100-£150 per day (dependent on experience)

Job Description:

You will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the secondary school. Your key responsibilities will include supervising and managing students during teacher absences, delivering pre-set lesson plans, and maintaining classroom discipline. You will also be required to adapt to a variety of subjects and year groups, and collaborate with teaching staff to ensure the effective operation of the school.

Requirements:

  • Availability from 8:30 to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
  • Strong behaviour management skills, particularly in a secondary school context
  • Flexibility to cover a range of subjects and year groups
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact in a secondary school environment
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a secondary school, is an advantage
  • An Enhanced DBS check is required for this position, or willingness to obtain one
