Job Title: Food Warehouse Operative

Exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team at Fresh Direct, a leading food production company. We're looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Warehouse Operative to join our Wigan meat production unit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Picking orders and preparing meat products for distribution
  • Operating machinery to prepare meat and storing products in a safe and efficient manner
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including equipment, tools, and machinery
  • Documenting product temperatures and completing basic HACCP paperwork
  • Shuttling product between our Carver & Co Wigan depot and Brakes Warrington depot using a company van
Requirements:
  • Full driving licence essential
  • Ability to work well in a team and maintain a flexible approach
  • Keen and willing to learn meat preparation processes and undertake basic knife skills
  • Manual handling skills and ability to lift and bend
