Chadwick Nott Legal Recruitment is seeking a skilled Procurement Lawyer to join their client's legal team. The ideal candidate will have experience in procurement law and a strong understanding of commercial compliance frameworks.
- Support the development and implementation of a commercial compliance framework that adheres to applicable legal rules and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, providing standards for processes and controls.
- Act as a subject matter expert on Public Contract Regulations, identifying potential risks and ensuring the category team operates to the highest standards.
- Support the implementation of new standard procurement documents.
- Represent the legal function at meetings of the Category Decision Forum and Category Management Forum to ensure informed decision-making.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in a private practice or in-house environment practicing in a relevant area.
- Extensive experience of procurement law.
This is a hybrid opportunity requiring 2 days a week working from one of their offices and 3 days working from home. The salary is from just under £58K with an excellent benefits package including a performance bonus, 27 days holiday, and a generous pension scheme.
