Job Opportunity

Chadwick Nott Legal Recruitment is seeking a skilled Procurement Lawyer to join their client's legal team. The ideal candidate will have experience in procurement law and a strong understanding of commercial compliance frameworks.

  1. Support the development and implementation of a commercial compliance framework that adheres to applicable legal rules and best practices.
  2. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, providing standards for processes and controls.
  3. Act as a subject matter expert on Public Contract Regulations, identifying potential risks and ensuring the category team operates to the highest standards.
  4. Support the implementation of new standard procurement documents.
  5. Represent the legal function at meetings of the Category Decision Forum and Category Management Forum to ensure informed decision-making.

Requirements:

  1. At least 3 years of experience in a private practice or in-house environment practicing in a relevant area.
  2. Extensive experience of procurement law.

This is a hybrid opportunity requiring 2 days a week working from one of their offices and 3 days working from home. The salary is from just under £58K with an excellent benefits package including a performance bonus, 27 days holiday, and a generous pension scheme.
