Job Title: Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at PayPoint plc. As an Infrastructure Specialist, you will play a key role in driving stability and improvements to our PayPoint IT Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure automation of tasks is at the forefront of speed to deployment of new project work or existing improvements to the infrastructure.
  • Manage incidents through to resolution, with a proven track record in the installation, support and maintenance of advanced Windows and Linux Technologies.
  • Operational support of the Infrastructure, carrying out 2nd and 3rd line analysis of incidents and problems.
  • Assist with Projects and Infrastructure Delivery, ensuring consistency and quality of the service.
  • Update documentation, policies and procedures, and ensure they are followed.
Requirements:
  • Proven Production Support or Project Delivery experience.
  • Windows Server OS's (Ideally from 2016 to 2022), Full Windows Stack including DHCP, DNS, AD.
  • Linux (Ideally Ubuntu, RedHat and Rocky), Microsoft Exchange 2013/2016, Microsoft Office 365.
  • Microsoft Azure Stack from Compute, Networking, to Azure Active Directory, Microsoft SQL.
  • Understanding of security in relation to network, server, applications, data and databases.
  • Proficient in PowerShell Scripting, Bash Scripting or Python.
