We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team in the Dungannon area. The successful candidate will have experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
About the RoleThe Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for initiating and modifying designs, installing new plant and machinery, and managing repairs and breakdowns. They will also ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and liaise with equipment suppliers as necessary.
Key Responsibilities- Report to and adhere to instructions from Maintenance Manager and Senior Maintenance Technicians
- Initiate and modify electrical & mechanical designs
- Electrical installation of new plant and machinery
- Manage electrical & mechanical repairs and breakdowns while avoiding downtime and ensuring minimal disruption
- Evaluate and improve site-wide processes
The successful candidate must have:
- Experience in a similar role required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read electrical drawings
- Self-motivating with ability to work on own initiative
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
The successful candidate will receive:
