I C Talent is currently seeking an Education Assistant - Secondary to cover for absent teachers in various secondary schools across Manchester. As a Cover Teacher and Learning Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise students, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment
  • Follow lesson plans provided by the absent teacher, managing the classroom effectively
  • Support students in their learning, adapting to their needs
  • Maintain order and adhere to school policies and procedures

Essential Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6 months' experience in UK education-based roles
  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service and valid safeguarding certification are desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role
  • You should be able to adapt to different classroom environments and work collaboratively with school staff
