Role: Radiology Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our Radiology team at Hereford Hospital. As a Radiology Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations and providing outstanding patient experiences.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients throughout their radiology appointments, preparing them for imaging procedures.
  • Collaborate with Radiographers to manage patient flow and maintain an efficient workflow.
  • Support Radiologists in carrying out radiological examinations.
  • Handle patient inquiries and schedule appointments using Radiology IT systems.
  • Assist the administrative team in sending reports to referring physicians.
  • Contribute to the management of the IEP service alongside Radiographers.
  • Maintain stock levels and ensure timely ordering of supplies.
  • Participate in regular audits to enhance quality assurance.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
  • NVQ Level 2 in a Health-related subject.
  • A caring and empathetic nature with a strong commitment to patient well-being.
