Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced MFL ECT to join our team at Wayman Education. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to secondary students, with a focus on languages and cultural awareness.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of secondary students
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and guidance to support academic achievement
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture, promoting social and emotional well-being among students
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and events, promoting languages and cultural awareness
- Adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures, ensuring the welfare and safety of all students
Requirements
- QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Degree in a relevant field, such as languages or education
- Proven experience in teaching and learning, with a focus on secondary education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and students
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and its application in the classroom
- Ability to adapt teaching styles to meet the diverse needs of students
- Passion for teaching and learning, with a commitment to ongoing professional development
