Treaty Reinsurance Account Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Treaty Reinsurance Account Technician to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical accounting support for an expanding and successful Lloyds reinsurance broker handling all forms of Reinsurance business.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure that all documentation produced for clients and underwriters is issued and that signing of treaty accounts and all other related technical functions are finalised on each treaty account.
- Ensure the accuracy of the treaty processing and records as well as scheduling and prioritising the workload of the non-bureau IBA team.
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports on volumes of treaty accounts received and processed, as well as prepare ad hoc reports and statistical preparation.
- Liaise internally with all divisions when a problem or query arises regarding the processing of a technical treaty account.
- Previous experience working as a Reinsurance Treaty Accounts Technician with in-depth knowledge of Treaty accounts.
- Experience in the production and preparation of various technical documents, Knowledge of computerised filing systems, monitoring, and a reasonable understanding of reinsurance structures and market insurance.
We offer a competitive salary up to £55,000 dependent on experience, as well as an extensive benefits package. The office is centrally located in the heart of the City, and you will be joining an excellent company with long-term career prospects.
